All of us want deep, true joy that lasts. How can we have this everlasting joy? First, Paul instructs us, is to have a garage sale (a rubbish removal!) to eliminate a couple of things that robbed him and can rob us of true Christian joy; rules and rituals and relying on ourselves and our pedigree. Secondly, and most important, is to really know Christ, not just know about Him. He, and He alone, is the source for true, deep lasting joy!
