With last year's Turkey Drive, we learned the impact that our efforts can have in providing needed food assistance to many of our less-fortunate Chandler neighbors. Over 500 families have already registered with the food bank requesting a turkey dinner for this year. Let's help meet the need!
Please bring a small to medium size frozen turkey (approx. $15.00- $20.00) or a check in any amount to church on Sunday morning, Nov. 11th. Make the checks payable to the Chandler Christian Community Center, the parent of the Chandler Food Bank.
We will accept your donations near the entrance to the Sanctuary before and after all four services. You will receive a tax-deductible receipt for your donation. We will also be collecting turkeys and checks from members of the surrounding community in the Risen Savior parking lot from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
This Thanksgiving, let's once again open our hearts and share God's blessings with those who struggle to put food on their tables while most of our pantries are full.
